NAMIC Presents Druvenga With Chair's Award

DENVER, (Sept. 25, 2024) – The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies presented its Chair’s Award today to Randy Druvenga, retired president and current management consultant for Denver, Iowa-based First Maxfield Mutual Insurance Association, for his leadership and support of the mutual property/casualty insurance industry.

“Randy Druvenga has been a terrific leader for NAMIC and our industry, and I couldn’t be more proud to present him with the Chair’s Award,” said Neil Alldredge, president and CEO of NAMIC. “Randy has devoted his life to his company, his community, and our association, and we’re all better for his leadership and dedication.”

Druvenga took on the role of First Maxfield president in 2006 when his predecessor passed away unexpectedly. He served on the NAMIC Board of Directors from 2016 until 2021 and led the association through the COVID-19 pandemic as board chair for 2019-2020. He also served on numerous NAMIC committees, including the Farm Mutual Conference Board, the NAMIC PAC Board of Trustees, and the NAMIC Mutual Insurance Foundation Board. He also joined the NAMICO Board of Directors in 2022.

Additionally, Druvenga has been a board member for Grinnell Mutual since 2014 and is an active member and past president of the Mutual Insurance Association of Iowa. The Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame inducted Druvenga in 2021 for all the work and energy he’s poured into the industry.

“Through some of the toughest times our industry has faced, Randy has been a rock,” Alldredge said. “He has met every challenge and took every opportunity to advocate for our industry.”
