Certifications at Convention

PFMM NAMIC Professional Farm Mutual Manager Designation

The Underwriting & Claims Module will be offered at NAMIC’s Annual Convention, which includes the following sessions:

  • Claims
  • Loss Control – Part 1
  • Loss Control – Part 2
  • Underwriting Property & Liability

Individuals working toward the PFMM designation must attend all PFMM sessions at NAMIC’s Annual Convention. Certified individuals attending NAMIC’s Annual Convention as a maintenance event are free to attend any sessions they choose. Individuals seeking credit will need to complete the post-event evaluation emailed at the conclusion of Convention.

FMDC NAMIC Farm Mutual Director Certification

Several educational sessions taking place at NAMIC’s Annual Convention have been approved for FMDC elective and/or maintenance credit under the following course names:

Continuing Professional Education Credit for CPAs (CPE)

NAMIC’s 126th Annual Convention has been certified for a total of 4.0 CPE credits in the fields of Business Management & Organization, Communications and Marketing, Information Technology, and Personnel/Human Resources. Individuals seeking CPE credit must sign in and out using the sign-in sheet within each session room. Certificates will be emailed within 60 days.

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this Convention.
Advance Preparation: There is no advance preparation required for this Convention.
Delivery Method: This Convention will be conducted in a group-live setting.
Program Level: This program level is an overview.

NAMIC is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org. Professional Development Credit for Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM)

NAMIC’s 126th Annual Convention is recognized by SHRM to offer SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP professional development credits (PDCs). This program is valid for 4.0 PDCs. Individuals seeking credit will need to complete the post-event evaluation emailed at the conclusion of Convention. Certificates will be emailed within 60 days. Continuing Education for CPCUs

NAMIC’s 126th Annual Convention meets the guidelines for CPCUs to earn up to 8.75 credit hours as part of The Institutes CE for CPCUs program. Each CPCU is responsible for determining which activities meet the program’s standards and manually reporting credits through The Institutes. Remember that the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct expectations apply to all self-reported activities and that each CPCU is expected to honestly and accurately report the number of credit hours earned.
