RE: Alabama Legislature Begins Final Passage of Insurance-related Bills to Address Coastal Concerns
"We applaud Alabama legislators for their efforts to pass bills to address coastal insurance concerns. In particular, NAMIC has for many years testified in support of proposals that provide policyholders with the incentive to appropriately manage finances set aside for use when catastrophe strikes, so we are especially pleased with SB 227's passage. We look forward to passage of additional property/casualty insurance-related bills as the Alabama legislative session draws to a close."
