Jon Bergner

Jonathan Bergner serves as Assistant Vice President of Federal Affairs in NAMIC’s Washington D.C. office. Jon is involved in the full range of NAMIC's federal government relations activities from legislative strategy to policy development, and handles of diverse portfolio of issues for the association. He has been with NAMIC since December 2007.

Bergner has spent time on both the House and Senate side of Capitol Hill and remains active in political campaigning. Before coming to NAMIC, Jon also gained experience in consulting, lobbying, and public affairs at two well-known Washington firms.

Bergner is a Virginia native of the Washington D.C. area. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor of arts in political theory and philosophy and has a masters degree from Georgetown University.
