Day two of the 117th NAMIC Annual convention got off to an early start as attendees took part in the run/walk for children’s cancer research. NAMIC also recognized its Merit Society award winners, and heard from online Travel innovator Terry Jones on how he changed the way the travel business works.
After the morning’s general session, attendees received an update on NAMIC PAC’s activities, or on advocacy efforts specific to the Farm Mutual and Property/Casualty conferences before a luncheon in the exhibition hall. Those working towards their Farm Mutual Designation were also given the opportunity to earn credits at a seminar on the Impact of Underwriting.
In the afternoon’s concurrent sessions provided guidance on such issues as data security, reinsurance and measuring company financials, followed by an update on the issues important to our industry at either the federal or state level.
