NAMIC Recognizes Merit Award Winners

The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies recognized 30 individuals for their professionalism at a breakfast during the 117th Annual Convention.

Patrick Faga, PFMM, senior vice president at Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company and chairman of NAMIC’s Merit Society opened the festivities, and was followed by outgoing NAMIC chair James Kennedy in lauding the award winners.

Attendees also heard from Tracy Butz, a published author and speaker who encouraged her audience to become architects of their own lives. At the end of the breakfast, Faga turned over the chairman’s gavel to the incoming Merit Society Chairman, Fairmont Farmers Mutual Insurance Company Manager/Treasurer Paul Stueven.

The Merit Society awarded two scholarships for students pursuing an insurance industry related major to Indiana State University Senior Morgan Godden and Steven Zappia, a junior at Utica College.
