Maine: Kofman Resigns as Superintendent, Citing Need for Shared Philosophy

Citing the governor’s “need to have a regulator who shares your philosophy,” Superintendent of Insurance Mila Kofman announced today that she would resign the post she has held for more than three years. She will leave the post effective June 1.
