Hawaii: NAMIC-Opposed Claims History in Homeowner’s Insurance Rating, Underwriting Bill Amended to Apply Only to Claims ‘Inquiries’
The Senate passed an amended version of SB 2009, (HI SB 2009_SD1) Homeowners Insurance Claims History, earlier this month that limits the scope of the bill to claims “inquiries.” The amended bill passed out of the Senate on third reading on a 25-0 vote and has now been assigned to the House Committee on Housing.
