Montana: NAMIC Submits Written Testimony Opposing Credit-Based Insurance Scoring Rating Factors Consumer Disclosure Mandate Legislation, Bill Tabled in House Committee

The House Business and Labor Committee held a public hearing March 10 on SB 260 as amended, a credit-based insurance scoring bill. The bill was tabled by the committee on a 15-6 vote. NAMIC submitted written testimony opposing the legislation and contacted members of the Legislature expressing concerns about the practical adverse implications of the bill.
